On a holiday - Rahul Pillai

If Ayn Rand shot to fame courtesy her incredible work in the form of Fountainhead, in a few days I might as well give a shot at writing novels. Only that my book shall hit the stores (if at all it does) by the name Kettlehead.

Why??

Well, with all the steam building in this small, normally non-functional brain of mine, I could not think of a better substitute to the name. The steam, however, is not the result of watching the home made videos of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee (I guess those videos are the only things Pamela is capable of making at home……and outside too!!!)
This steam is a result of the inevitable workout my brain has been put through to confront the same, somber days of examinations. But then examinations are much like marriages. Before even you realize the state of anarchy you are put into, you become used to it. I hope that’s the same that happens to me. At least I get to go back home and get some fresh air.

Home actually reminds me of the Holidays that await me beyond this Battle of Punepat, 2006. And before I further continue speaking about holidays……an oath. A solemn oath.

“I swear by the Holy Epic, “Marketing Management”, by Kotler and Keller that I shall speak truth and just truth.”

1.I don’t want a holiday. Nor do I want to go back home.
2.I shall so badly miss the Sunday morning lectures on Sick Sigma.
3.When at home, I shall miss Butter Chicken and Chapatti at NCC Canteen.
4.I shall miss the daily formal wear I dress myself in.
5.I shall miss all the presentations I get to make in a class.
6.And all other such kinds of fun that I get in college.

As words betray my mind to help me describe the agony involved in being far from this place for 2 weeks, am sure I shall leave with a really heavy heart. And without doubt be eagerly waiting for college to reopen. Until then, let me make a list of all the torments and horror I’d have to undergo in hell for the six big lies.
