The most watched person on campus, love him, hate him there is no ignoring him. He represents the face of the students to the top floor and theirs to us. MadMag caught up with Sanjib, the student council president.
MadMag: Tell us the basics of Sanjib Bose.
Sanjib: Age – 26, From Calcutta, Basically an Engineer in Power Electronics
MM: Tell us something about you that no one knows
SB: There is nothing like that, I am too open a person
MM: In the college filled with clean shaven men, why the mush?
SB: (smiling) just didn’t want to shave it off
MM: What was it like when you became prez?
SB: the feeling was more like, I have not changed, but the people have changed around me. Not that I was alienated but the expectations went up. Among my closest friends, there was no change
MM: What is a typical day in the life of the prez?
SB: Get up, come to the coll by 9, attend whatever little classes, on campus till around 12, go home, watch the tube (news, movies)…
MM: Since you spend all the time in the Room 13, who is your favorite PAT-ie?
SB: All of them.
MM: What is the best thing about being in the PAT (other than getting to bunk the classes)?
SB: The experience of applying what the others learn in class, the basics of selling, ideating, marketing, we learnt hands on.
MM: Whom would you like to spend the last day in college? Roommates or the PAT?
SB: (after a long thought) my roommates
MM: Who would you like to date among the juniors?
SB: (smiling) there’s no one interesting.
MM: Who would be the guy you would date if you were gay?
SB: (quickly) I AM NOT GAY.
MM: What was the wildest thing that you have done when sober and when drunk?
SB: While sober, I got a prof thrown out of college, and while drunk, I generally am quite and go to sleep
MM: You keep singing a lot. What is the song that you would like people to remember you with?
SB: Kabhi Palkon Pe Aassoo by Kishore Kumar
MM: If you were to associate a song with MagMag what would it be?
SB: Koi Kahe Kehtha Rahe from Dil Chatha Hai
MM: What is your favorite quote?
SB: “LIVE LIFE KING SIZE”
MM: At the end of the day if you were to happy, gay or happy and gay what would you choose?
SB: Happy

SB: we all know that the insti falls short of expectations. Both the management and the students are to blame. But use what we have to the max and give back what you can
